Our story began in 2013 with our Founder, Dr. Sidney Goldblatt (1934-2022), a true visionary in the healthcare industry. Dr. Goldblatt, a proven industry pioneer set the highest standards of excellence and professionalism. He always challenged the complacency of the status quo. MolecularDx (MDX) started primarily as a research laboratory and over the years evolved into a forensic toxicology laboratory. Through the early years projects included work on Precision Medicine, Personalized Medicine, Pharmacogenomics, Cancer, Polypharmacy, Clinical Toxicology, Forensic Toxicology, and Drug Chemistry. As MolecularDx began to grow it also began to focus. Efforts and attention became focused on the Forensic Science Community. Today our current client base includes Coroners, Medical Examiners, Law Enforcement, and District Attorneys. Through these years of growth, our goals never changed; striving to always enhance the connection between state-of-the-art laboratory testing and the communities that depend on these important laboratory results. As Dr. Goldblatt often said, “our power is in our people”; the people of MDX are inspired to continue the story.
